Real Estate Developer
Ebert Companies is seeking a candidate that has self-motivation and eagerness to join our growing development division. Ebert Companies is uniquely positioned to develop successful projects by integrating the development and construction process under the same company. This position is ideal for a self-motivated person with 2-8 years of experience looking to join a company that has the history of developing successful projects. The primary emphasis for this position is to find and execute local development opportunities in trending markets.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Understanding of Twin City real estate markets and identifying development opportunities
- Developing projects by identifying unique parcels prime for development
- Basic understanding of proformas as they relate to development
- Identify and prospect potential sites for development
- Understanding of zoning requirements and potential uses
- Identify and engage with development project clients
- Ability to work with Cities on development challenges
- Creative ability to navigate entitlement process with local governing bodies
- Attend planning commission, city council, and various meetings surrounding development of project site as required for prospective sites
- Staying current on market trends
- Networking and development of relationships with end users and various organizations
- Active involvement in local NAIOP and MSCA events and programs
Qualifications/Skills:
- Self-motivated personality
- College Degree
- Preferred 5-7 years commercial real estate
- Preferred Real Estate License
- Computer Skills- Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
- Preferred member of either MSCA or NAIOP-MN associations
- Outgoing personality with the ability to network
project manager
Primary Responsibilities:
- Actively soliciting bidders
- Estimating project costs
- Contract negotiations with subcontractors
- Overseeing projects including running weekly meetings and having ongoing communication with job superintendent, architect, and owner
- Overall accountability for project schedule, budget, and conflict resolution
Skills:
- Computer Skills- Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel), Procore, Timberline
- Quantity/Cost Estimating
- Plan Reading
- Organizational/time management
- Effective written and oral communication
Qualifications:
- College Degree in construction management, construction engineering or related field
- 2-5 years project management experience preferred but not required

project Superintendent
Ebert Companies is seeking a Commercial Construction Project Superintendent for various sized projects in the commercial construction field.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Manage all day-to-day activities on the job site, daily notes, phone calls, and safety management.
- Communicate with all subcontractors on sequencing, scheduling, and coordination.
- Help maintain and improve overall schedule and adhere to it.
- Running weekly foreman/ coordination meetings.
- Manage a job site to make sure we have a clean and safe site.
Qualifications:
- Commercial working superintendent experience.
Skills:
- Computer Skills- Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
- Procore experience preferred but not required.
- Scheduling Software.
Labor Superintendent
Responsibilities include:
- Blueprint reading, layout and planning of the day-to-day onsite jobs
- Managing multiple carpentry and demolition crews and subcontractors
- Monitoring safety of the crews on site
- Daily notes of completed work and upcoming needs
- Coordinate equipment, materials, and deliveries
Qualifications:
- Effective communication with office and field staff
- Essential physical requirement necessary to do this job
- 5 years construction experience
- Strong organizational skills
- Task oriented
- Clean driving record
Concrete Foreman
Responsibilities May Include:
- Blueprint reading, layout and planning of the day-to-day onsite jobs
- Managing safety of the crew on site
- Daily notes of completed work and upcoming needs
- Managing multiple laborers and finishers
Qualifications:
- Essential physical requirement necessary to do this job
- 5 years construction experience with footings & flatwork
- Strong organizational skills
- Task oriented
- Clean driving record
Concrete Finisher
Responsibilities may include:
- Set Up
- Grading
- Pouring Concrete
- Finish Concrete
- Footings
Qualifications & Skills:
- Essential physical requirements necessary to do this job
- Must have ability to finish hard trowel concrete
- Strong organizational skills
- Task oriented
- Must have dependable transportation to job sites
- Experience preferred but training is available for driven individuals
Carpenters
Responsibilities may include:
- Rough Carpentry
- Commercial Doors & Hardware
- Light Gauge Metals
- Finish Carpentry
Qualifications & Skills:
- The ability to lift 50lbs continuously
- Essential physical requirements necessary to do this job
- Strong organizational skills
- Task oriented
- Must have dependable transportation to job sites
- Experience preferred but training is available for driven individuals
