About Ebert Companies: Generations of Building a Legacy
Ebert Companies is your local, family-owned and operated general contractor with a solid reputation for building and remodeling projects. It all began in 1968, when founder Jack Ebert put together a team to build pole barns. Known then as Ebert Construction, the company focused on pole barn construction work until the early 1990s. It further developed its capabilities with expansion into more traditional commercial construction, that included municipality work, as well as building and remodeling projects throughout the Twin Cities, and across Minnesota.
In 2002, several industrial development projects laid the foundation for Ebert Companies to expand beyond construction into commercial real estate development. As the company continued to grow, it leveraged its expertise in 2016 to enter the self-storage market as a developer, builder, and owner. That success opened the door to long-term investment opportunities in multifamily housing, a sector that has become a cornerstone of Ebert Companies' growth and strategic focus in recent years.

our history
Family-Owned for Three Generations
For three generations, Ebert Companies is still family owned and operated. Though the company has grown and evolved over the decades, it remains dedicated to the vision and values that started it all—the idea that our employees and our partnerships are the backbone of success.
Today, Ebert Companies operates with the same respect and integrity it’s always had for its team, its clients, and its partners. In an environment where people feel supported, valued, and connected to a greater cause, the team has a sense of pride in both their contributions and the company.
Success is a team effort, and it always has been at Ebert Companies. The decisions made today will influence future generations. Choosing long-term relationships over short-term gains is still the focus. And it’s that mindset that empowers Ebert to continue developing lasting partnerships that drive the company forward.
